ETO Map of Patents

ETO's Map of Patents collects and organizes the world's inventions, revealing key trends, hotspots, and concepts in global technology development.

The Map includes over a hundred million patent documents from around the world, consolidated into patent families and organized into more than 116,000 patent clusters. Filter clusters by technology category, leading countries and assignees, predicted growth or other characteristics to pinpoint patenting trends and hotspots. The Map runs on global patent data from CSET's Research and Patent Cluster Dataset .

ETO is a project of the Center for Security and Emerging Technology at Georgetown University. Map of Patents is maintained by CSET’s data team.
